include these things in your social media content calendars
Like I’ve said, everyone that uses social media for their business knows about, has tried, or uses a content calendar to plan out their posts.
A detailed content calendar will do wonders for your business, as it is what controls the narrative being told on your social channels (aka the conversation you’re having with your audience). Here's what to include:
purpose
What is the purpose of the post? Is it a sale? To educate? A part of a seasonal campaign? Specifying this provides trackable data and results!
who?
Who is going to film it? Who is going to design it? Is there someone else that has to edit it? This is important to identify, especially with hands-on clients.
hashtags + keywords
There should be (some) different hashtags and keywords in every post, depending on what the post is about. Take your time and do your research!
pointers
Whether they're caption pointers or content pointers, this is necessary to call out. They could come from a client or internally (or both), and improve the end result.
Like anything in marketing, be consistent with it and give it a couple months (3 minimum) to start seeing results. We recommend trying something out for 3-6 months and adjusting thereafter, so you have enough data to make an informed decision!
