how we helped BeABlake raise almost $100,000 with their first fundraising event

The foundation came to us looking for help in launching their brand. They knew they needed the essentials (a website, social media, and email marketing) but wanted to take it a step further and create a brand that honored Blake and helped him live on through its mission.

strategy

Our strategy here was to create awareness and boost connection, and we concentrated on social media and email marekting, which further supported other initiatives they implemented post-launch.

+ Social media: we focused on educating their audience on impaired driving and the organizations that the foundation partners with in pursuit of their mission. We also focused heavily on Blake and letting him shine through (showing his family, ways he would celebrate if he was still here, etc.) to generate a connection with their audience. We used social media as the main channel to promote their first annual fundraising event, connecting with donors, sponsors, participants, and fans.

+ Email marketing: this is where we went into bigger detail about the events they were hosting, scholarships they awarded, and organizations they partner with. We used our not-so-secret (email us if you want this) email marketing formula to engage, educate, and connect with all members of their audience. We also heavily promoted their first fundraising event, allowing people to participate, donate, and spread the word.

+ Website: we brought their brand to life with a clean, modern, but sporty (Blake in a nutshell) look. Beyond its looks, we created a hub for people to learn more about the foundation, donate, stay up to date with events, and learn how to get involved.
